The Rocky Mountain Rapids is dedicated to providing a safe, positive, supportive, and drug free environment for the protection of our athletes as they prepare for and participate in competitive swimming activities.
The handbook provides behavioral guidelines for swimmers and for those who have contact with swimmers. Compliance with the guidelines contained within The Rapids Safe Sport Handbook is mandatory.
USA Swimming and the Rapids request all parents/guardians take the Safe Sport Parent's Guide to Misconduct in Sport Training. Designed for the parents of athletes of all ages, this course explains the issues of misconduct in sport and helps parents ensure their children have a positive and safe sport experience. The training is free, but does require registration: Athlete Protection Training.
